Hop aboard the Cartoon Carousel!
Among the exciting new programming announcements for Sonic the Hedgehog and Quick Draw McGraw, we have another new show coming your way, featuring lots of classic cartoons that don't often get the spotlight.
Cartoon Carousel is a special program where we will air a different cartoon every week; many of these shows are beloved classics that may have only lasted one season or have a limited number of episodes. Cartoon Carousel is our chance to include cartoons you love, but may not have enough episodes for a regular weekday spot.
Here's a look at some of the cartoons we will be airing on Cartoon Carousel:
Captain Caveman & The Teen Angels: A prehistoric superhero is thawed from a block of ice and joins a group of teen sleuths in solving mysteries
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kids: Unrelated to the similarly titled movie, a teen rock band also solves mysteries with the help of a supercomputer they call Mr. Socrates and their dog, Elvis.
Clue Club: Four teen detectives run their investigation agency with the help of their two dogs, Woofer and Wimper.
Funky Phantom: A trio of teen sleuths encounters their greatest mystery yet: a Revolutionary War-era ghost and his ghost cat.
Goober and the Ghost Chasers: Goober is a green dog who involuntarily becomes invisible, and he helps his teen friends solve mysteries and travel to far-out places with their Apparition Kit. Their mysteries have less to do with solving crimes and are more about finding real ghosts.
Buford Files & The Galloping Ghost: Buford is a lazy bloodhound who assists his friends in solving mysteries. In The Galloping Ghost, Nugget Nose is the ghost of a Gold Rush prospector and helps his cowgirl friends keep their jobs at the Fuddy Dude Ranch.
Droopy, Master Detective: Droopy and his son, Dripple, work as detectives.
Dynomutt, Dog Wonder: By day, they're a millionaire art dealer and his bumbling mechanical dog, but by night they become the Daring Duo: The Blue Falcon and Dynomutt, Dog Wonder!
The Roman Holidays: Like The Flintstones, this animated sitcom follows an ancient Roman family dealing with modern-day problems.
