MeTV Toons celebrates cats and dogs with Paws for Applause marathon

It's the dog days of summer, and that means it's time to pause and watch MeTV Toons' Paws for Applause Marathon! On Saturday, June 13, from 4P | 3C to 11P | 10C we will be celebrating the cats and dogs of classic cartoons, including Tom & Jerry, Droopy, Heathcliff & Marmaduke, Top Cat, and, making his MeTV Toons premiere, Hong Kong Phooey!

From crafty cats to lovable dogs, classic animation turned ordinary household pets into some of the most unforgettable stars in cartoon history. Whether caught in rivalries, unlikely friendships or chaotic adventures, these iconic characters helped define the slapstick fun of classic animation and continue to entertain audiences of all ages today.
